Telephone Bridge

EVO has a telephone bridge that allows users to call into an EVO Meeting. See below for the current access numbers. (Using our distributed architecture, additional locations can easily be added. If you want your institute as part of the EVO distributed telephone gateway, don't hesitate to contact us). To know the available telephone numbers please have a look at our telephone bridges list.
To call in, you will need the meeting Phone Bridge ID, and optionally the meeting’s Phone Bridge Password if the meeting has a password. The Phone Bridge ID is created automatically during the creation of an EVO meeting. If the EVO meeting included a password then a Phone Bridge Password will be automatically created as well.
You can find the Phone Bridge ID and Password in the meeting list in Koala by clicking on the
to get more information about a meeting. You can also access the meeting information via the “search meeting” option in the Koala menu. If you book the meeting you will also get an email with complete information about EVO meeting booking which includes the telephone access information.

The
button will show a window that includes information about the meeting’s title, description, etc. The meeting’s Phone Bridge ID is also included.

If the meeting is protected by a password, the phone bridge will also need a Phone Bridge Password. You can find the Phone Bridge Password if you are in the meeting and press the
button. Outside of the meeting you must be the owner of the meeting (the user who booked it) or one of the moderators of the meeting to see the meeting’s Phone Bridge Password
After the EVO tone plays, you will be prompted to enter the meeting’s Phone Bridge ID number followed by the pound key. Enter the number and press “#”. If the meeting has a password you will be prompted to enter the meeting’s Phone Bridge Password. You then will be connected to the meeting.
The user connected to the meeting via telephone will appear as “Phone Bridge” in the meeting participant view of the Koala client. Other participants of the EVO meeting will be aware of any telephone bridges connected to or leaving the meeting. The moderator commands are available to mute/un-mute/kick out, etc. this user.
