DashBoard Buttons
With DashBoard buttons you can get access to most of the Koala features. Moving your mouse cursor over each button will display a brief explanation about what that button does in the current state.

A button always shows itself in its current state. For instance, this
button means that your microphone is currently muted. Most of the buttons have 2 states: ON/OFF. Some buttons may be disabled or not present at all depending on you current type of the meeting and/or your role in the this meeting.
The AUDIO SPEAKERS
button is always ON by default. Clicking on it will stop playing the audio of the remote participants. Clicking on the OFF mode of the
button will start again playing the audio from the participants. A volume bar
shows the received audio gain in real time. If you click on it, it will open the audio settings window to manage the audio settings and volume.The AUDIO MICROPHONE control: UnMUTE if you will click on the
and MUTE by clicking on
. You can adjust the microphone settings or devices using the audio settings window by clicking on the
.The VIDEO CAMERA control: turns ON (click on
) or OFF (click on
) the transmission of your video. You can select your camera from the ViEVO menu.You can broadcast your COMPUTER'S DESKTOP in the current meeting by clicking on the
button (switch ON desktop capture) and stop transmitting your desktop by clicking on
button (switch OFF desktop capture). You can show SHARED FILES during the meeting by clicking on the
, and hide them by clicking on the
. If you see this icon flashing in red, it means that new file is being shared by a participant.You can open the RECORDER/PLAYER by clicking on the
button and hide it by clicking on the
. You can open the WHITEBOARD window by clicking on the
button and hide it by clicking on the
.The SETTINGS Window
allows you to adjust the Audio settings or the Video settings or invoke the ExtCall interface if the ExtCall tool is selected (see below).If you are the moderator of the meeting, you have additional buttons for moderation. To show the Moderation widget, click on the
button.The EXIT button
will make you leave the meeting and return to the default view with list of meetings in your communities.
ExtCall Tool Dashboard
If you have selected ExtCall tool as videoconference client in the Preferences, you have a different DashBoard view:

Instead of audio and video buttons you have now “Reconnect”
and “Display all videos in Vievo”
.
“Reconnect”
button will call again the last called number. To know more about the call of an external H.323 or SIP client go to Call an H.323 or SIP Client.The button for “Display all videos in Vievo” will turn ON
and OFF
the ViEVO application to display all video streams of the meeting.

Plenary meeting dashboard
If you are connected to the Plenary type of meeting as a normal user (not as moderator), you will see the following Dashboard Buttons:

In addition to the buttons described above, you will have the Raise Hand
button. Using this button you can ask the moderator of the meeting to allow you to speak. While you are waiting for the approval, the icon will be changed to
. If you click on the
icon, it will cancel your request to the moderator. When the moderator allows you to speak, your microphone, which is grayed-out will become active
and you can speak.You can only download Shared files during plenary meeting. To open the Exchange files, click on
Broadcast meeting dashboard
If you are connected to the Broadcast meeting as a normal user (not as moderator), you will see following Dashboard Buttons:

During a broadcast meeting you can only receive the video and audio streams. You have only one button to mute/unmute audio and another one to leave the meeting.
You have the ability to interact with other participants of the broadcasted meeting using the meeting Chat.
