Private INTERACTION with another participant

Clicking with the left mouse button on user‘s icon will allow you to choose one of the following options to interact with another participant. Using this menu you can do following things (respectively, from left to right): start private chat with selected user, send a file to the selected user, add him/her to your buddy list and to start Private Call (described below)

Aparté, Private Audio discussion

The Aparté is a private audio conversation during the ongoing meeting. It lets you talk with another participant of the same meeting without being heard by the rest of the participants of the same meeting. No one else will be aware of your private call. It is like you whisper to your neighboring colleague in a real conference room.

Click on this button to send the request to the selected participant. If the remote participant accepts your call, the interface looks like this (see below).

Your microphone will automatically be switched ON. During your private audio discussion you will hear at the same time the discussion that going on in the meeting. It could be difficult to do both, so it is possible to uncheck the "Listen all" checkbox at the bottom left corner of the meeting panel in KOALA to mute the sound coming from the meeting and just listen the person who is in Aparté with you. A click on the

button will stop the Private Call. Then your microphone will be automatically muted and the interface will come back as usual (see below).
