Start an Ad Hoc Meeting
If you need to create a meeting immediately, you can create an “ad hoc” meeting as shown above.
In this case, the meeting starts immediately with a duration set to eight hours by default. You enter the meeting automatically using your preferred videoconferencing client. The Meeting become visible to all other members of the community. Thus, they will be able to join the meeting from the list of ongoing meetings. When EVO detects that there are no more participants in this meeting (after the initial 10 minutes), the ad hoc meeting will be automatically ended.
At the declaration of an ad hoc meeting, a window shows up with this form to fill:
Enter the meeting title in “Meeting Title” field.
Enter additional information in “Meeting Description”(Optional).
Enter Password (Optional).
Select the meeting Type (Opened, Plenary or Broadcast).
Select which of your communities you want the meeting to belong to by using the pull down menu.
